Spring card in a box

This card was much easier to make, the second time around. I always have a bag of extra cuts from other projects, so I went through the bag and picked out some pieces. I love the Spring like paper that I chose from K & Company. With winter dragging itself out this year, it just feels good to be actually creating something Springy!

Since I haven't crafted in like forever, due to life getting busy and crazy, I decided this weekend that I was going to create. So this is my second creation this weekend.

Not too shabby for leftover cuts!

Card in a Box, first crack at it!

My poor copic markers have been sitting unused for over a year even though I've purchased all kinds of cute stamps. So I dusted off my stamps and colored in several butterfies, ladybugs and hummingbirds. Then, I made a ton of daisy cuts with my cuttlebug. I cut some large hearts with my Cricut and also some leaves and flourishes. I put the hearts through the crimper and inked them. The flower centers are leftover sticker embellishments I had from K & Company. It looks more like a beautiful mess than a bouquet but for my first try, I'm pleased with it. I'm thinking that all my unused cuts would work great in these cards. It took me more time to choose the papers than to create the card.

Thanks Caroline, for the great tutorial...you inspire me!
